FALL PROTECTION: HARNESS

Falls to lower levels continues to rank amongst the most frequent cause of workplace injuries and fatalities. The reasons these incidents occur can have their origins in several areas – weaknesses in the management systems that influence fall protection programs, and others are related to human behaviors and beliefs. Move around the environment by using the navigation arrows, or by clicking on the interactive elements of the course. Be sure to identify any external hazards outside of the equipment to make sure you do not cause harm to yourself or others. Make sure your work area is free from tools and other equipment that is not needed in order to complete your procedure. Everyone needs to practice good housekeeping because safety is priceless.
